Have a look at the houses you painted Year 2. Here they are in the wheelbarrow for the competition.

KMPA

The RHS Show Cardiff has a wheelbarrow competition for schools every year and this year the theme was ‘Floral Fairytales’. This was Kings Monkton’s entry, just before it was taken to the show, based on the fairytale ‘Sleeping Beauty’.

There are a quite a few people to thank for contributing to this wheelbarrow. The KMPA for helping fund the flowers and Mr and Mrs Ferguson for kindly providing us with the compost.

Year 2 children for painting the little cottages and the Primary School staff for spending an evening making tinfoil swords.

Unfortunately the school received a phone call on Friday lunchtime saying that there had been an accident and our wheel barrow had been knocked over and could we send a photo so that they could try and rebuild it!
